Case study · Monka

Monka needed a product—not more manual administration.

Monka already had the audience and the workouts. Balta Fit brought payments, access, programs, progress, and the member experience into one branded app across iOS, Android, and web.

The situation

The videos were growing faster than the business around them.

Monka’s audience was finding and following her workouts, but the paid experience still depended on repetitive work. Payments had to be checked. Access had to be granted or removed. Content lived as separate videos and links rather than as a product a member could follow from one day to the next.

None of those jobs improved a workout or helped a member stay consistent. They simply grew every time the audience did.

What changed

One member product replaced a collection of separate tasks.

The important work was not merely wrapping videos in an app. It was deciding how the content, access, and member journey should fit together.

01

Programs became followable

Workouts could be arranged into weeks, days, playlists, and focused four-week plans rather than left as an undifferentiated library.

02

Access followed payment

Subscription status and member entitlements became part of the product instead of a manual handover.

03

Progress became visible

Members could see completed training and return to a clear next step rather than start from a feed every time.

04

The brand became the place

The name, presentation, programs, and communication belonged to Monka’s product across mobile and web.

5/5 customer review

“Before the app, I had to check payments and grant access by hand. Now members can start straight away, and my programs finally feel like one product instead of a collection of links.”

Monka · Fitness creator and first Balta Fit customer

What became Balta Fit

The first solution became a foundation another creator can start from.

The reusable value is the operating system around the branded app: content structure, entitlements, subscriptions, delivery, releases, monitoring, and a creator workspace that keeps those parts aligned.

A new creator does not receive Monka’s design or programs. They receive the proven product foundation, configured around their own identity, offer, content, and members.

The practical lesson

The app worked because the audience and content existed first.

Balta Fit did not create Monka’s authority or replace the work of publishing useful workouts. It gave the existing business a stronger place to convert and serve the people who already trusted her.

That remains the qualification test for every new launch: there should be real demand to organize, monetize, and retain—not a hope that an app-store listing will create the audience.

Your app plan

What would the first useful version look like for your audience?

Send the current situation. I’ll tell you which part of the Monka foundation carries over, what needs to change, and whether an app is the sensible next step.
